OPENING TIMES

Welcome to our opening hours! We are open Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 3:30 PM. For students enrolled through alternative provision, they can study up to 15 hours per week, utilizing a mix of face-to-face and online sessions to suit your needs. We look forward to supporting your educational journey!

At Heroes Alternate Provision, we support students from KS1 to KS4 by providing a well-rounded educational experience. Our curriculum focuses on core subjects like Maths, English, and Science, offering tailored instruction to meet each student's unique learning needs. By blending academic rigor with practical application, we prepare our students for success in academic journeys and beyond.

Maths

Maths at Heroes focuses on personalised, engaging lessons to build confidence and understanding in essential mathematical concepts such as arithmetic, fractions, and problem-solving, tailored to meet diverse learning needs and pace.

PE

Physical Education Heroes focuses on promoting physical health, teamwork, and self-confidence. Students engage in a variety of activities, including team sports, individual challenges, and fitness exercises. Emphasis is placed on personal development, encouraging students to set and achieve their own fitness goals while fostering a lifelong appreciation for physical activity.

PSHE and RSE

PSHE and RSE are educational programs designed to develop the knowledge, skills, and attributes necessary for students to manage their lives, now and in the future.

It aims to equip students with the understanding needed to make informed decisions about their physical health, emotional well-being, and social responsibilities.

KS4

Maths

This curriculum is designed to develop students' problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and numerical fluency. The assessment usually involves written exams with various question types, including multiple-choice, short-answer, and problem-solving questions. Success in Maths GCSE is often required for further education and many career paths.

The English GCSE is divided into two main subjects: Language and Literature.
